Australia: ABS Labour Force Figures, released today, unemployment rate decreased 0.4 points to 3.5%. The participation rate increased to 66.8%. Monthly hours worked remained at 1,856 million hours. ↓
USA: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released July 8, the unemployment rate remained steady at 3.6%. ↔
UK: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released June 14, the unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 3.8%. ↑
New Zealand: Statistics New Zealand, released May 3, the unemployment rate remained steady in the first quarter at 3.2%. ↔
Germany: Destatis Germany, released June 30, unemployment rate increased 0.3 points to 5.3%. ↑
France: Insee France, released May 17, the unemployment rate decreased 0.1 points in the first quarter to 7.3%. ↓

Job Advertisements Series, released July 4, Job Ads increased by 1.4 per cent m/m in June following a small upward revision of the May number. The total number of Job Ads in June exceeded the recent peak in March signalling continued strength in the labour market.
Job Vacancy Rates: ABS Labour Force Figures, released June 30, total job vacancies for the May 2022 quarter were 480,100, an increase of 13.8% from February 2022. ↑
