Australia: ABS Labour Force Figures, released today, unemployment rate remained steady at 3.7%.↔The participation rate increased 0.3 points to 67.0%.↑Monthly hours worked increased to 1,954 million hours.↑

China: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released August 15, the unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 5.3% ↑

USA: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released September 1, the unemployment rate increased 0.3 points to 3.8%. ↑

Spain: Instituto Nacional de Estadistica, released July 27, unemployment rate decreased 1.66 points in the second quarter to 11.6%. ↓

Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence: released September 12, ANZ-Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence down 1.1pts to 77.6 – as perceptions of personal finances improve.

ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads released September 4, rose by 1.9% m/m in August following a upward revision in July to 0.7% m/m from 0.4% m/m. In trend terms, the series is up 0.8% m/m in August. ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads have fallen 7.8% from the September 2022 peak but remain elevated compared to pre-COVID levels.
