Australia: ABS Labour Force  Figures, released today, unemployment rate remained steady at 3.5%. ↔  The participation  rate increased 0.1 points to 66.8%. ↑ Monthly hours worked increased to 1,947  million hours. ↑

China: Bureau of  Labor Statistics, released July 17, the unemployment rate remained steady at  5.2%. ↔

USA: Bureau of  Labor Statistics, released July 7, the unemployment rate decreased 0.1 points  to 3.6%. ↓

New  Zealand: Statistics New Zealand, released May 2, the unemployment  rate remained steady  in the first quarter at 3.4%. ↔

Germany: Statistics Germany,  released June 30, the unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 5.7%. ↑

France: Insee France,  released May 17, the unemployment rate decreased 0.1 points in the first  quarter to 7.1%. ↓

Spain: Instituto  Nacional de Estadistica, released April 27, unemployment rate increased to  0.39 points in the first quarter to 13.26%. ↑

Roy Morgan Consumer  Confidence: released July 18, ANZ-Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence down 0.7pts to 72.6 – third straight week of declines.

Job  Advertisements Series released July 3, ANZ-Indeed Australian  Job Ads fell by 2.5% m/m in June following a downward revision in May to 0.0%  m/m from +0.1% m/m. In trend terms, the series declined 1.1% m/m in June.  ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads have fallen 10.8% from the September peak but  remain elevated compared to historical levels.

Job  Vacancy Rates: ABS Labour Force Figures, released June 29, total job vacancies for the May 2023 quarter were 431,600, a decrease of 2.0% from  February 2023.↓
