Australia: ABS Labour Force Figures, released today, unemployment rate decreased 0.2 points to 4.9%. The participation rate remained at 66.2%. Monthly hours worked decreased by 33 million hours to 1,781 million hours. ↓

Job Advertisements Series, released July 5, Job Ads rose 3.0% m/m in June to be up 39.1% on the pre-pandemic level and is consistent with an unemployment rate of around 5%, just below the 5.1% recorded in May.
