Sales Administrator / Project Coordinator

Proactively coordinate your own projects and manage the import and logistics of a wide range of engineering parts.  Brand new offices in Norwest next to metro.

The company

Based at their brand new Norwest offices, this multinational organisation offers a relaxed but professional work environment and the opportunity to work with skilled and capable people and great systems. Our client specialises in the installation of small and large scale equipment into major infrastructure and construction projects.

The role

Proactively coordinate the ordering and import of a wide range of parts used in engineering projects across Australia.

The responsibilities
Specifically this role involves:

  • receiving documentation from the procurement team, placing orders and creating purchase orders with local and international suppliers.
  • communicating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, clients and internal teams by phone and email to ensure everyone is kept informed of progress towards the final ETA.
  • coordinating air or sea freight and managing all relevant documentation.
  • maintenance of CRM records.
  • issue resolution.

The candidate

In order to be successful in your application, you will have:

  • recent experience in placing orders and coordinating the import and shipment of goods, using a CRM system.
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • great customer service skills and ability to think on your feet.
  • high attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • highly developed organisational skills.
  • be comfortable managing your own day and exercising your initiative.

The rewards
A rate Circa $38 per hour plus superannuation.  The work is interesting and there is a lot to learn about the product.  Following induction and training, you will enjoy the option to work part of your week from home.  Norwest metro is very close or parking is available.
